Marta Mattson es una renombrada artista, cuyas piezas le han valido premios como el Young Applied Artist (2016), otorgado por la Bengt Julins Fund y el Premio a la Excelencia (2013), entregado por la International Contemporary Metal Art Exhibition.

Marta se inspira en los gabinetes de curiosidades o cuartos maravilla del siglo VIII, como se les conocía a aquellos espacios donde se coleccionaban y exponían objetos exóticos. A pesar de que en la actualidad es raro descubrir especies exóticas, ella crea piezas haciendo uso de cadáveres de criaturas de una belleza sorprendente. 

Su trabajo forma parte de prestigiosas colecciones en todo el mundo, tales como: MAD, Museum of Art and Design (Nueva York); National Museum (Estocolmo); Hiko Mizuno College of Jewelry (Tokyo); Royal College of Art (London); y la China Academy of Art (China).

Marta is inspired by the cabinets of curiosities or wonder rooms from the XVII, spaces where exotic objects were collected and exposed. Although exotic species are rare today, she seeks to marvel using corpses from creatures with surprising beauty.

Her work is part of prestigious collections around the world, such as: MAD, Museum of Art and Design (New York); National Museum (Stockholm); Hiko Mizuno College of Jewelry (Tokyo); Royal College of Art (London); and China Academy of Art (China).
